Gama Foods Corporation in Cagayan de Oro is looking for:

1 – Quality Assurance Specialist

Requirements:

A graduate of Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry
1 year experience in Dressing Plant Operation is an advantage
Must be hardworking, honest, friendly, flexible, a well motivated individual & can work with less supervision
Willing to work on a shifting schedules.

Responsibilities:

Implement QA in accordance with audits of products and process
Supervise all regulations on food safety, take on all required apparels of all food handlers, and give enforcement to staff on practicing good manufacturing practices
Direct and conduct things in accordance with all required regulatory standards, and other required customer requirements
Makes sure that training is given to all food handlers of the departments so that they can perform assigned tasks effectively
Set up the general requirements for QA specifications and standards for materials, processes as well finished products for customer’s satisfaction

Requirements:

Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Licensed Mechanical Engineer
Must have 1-2 years of experience in Dressing plant operation/Feedmill operation
Has good leadership skills
Good in written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities:

Conducts regular meeting and discussion with Maintenance Supervisors, Plant Electrical Engineer, and Maintenance Personnel
Prepares work order based on the Preventive Maintenance Plan
Verify and validate machine/equipment status based on Maintenance Personnel report and Process Owners feedback
Coordinates with Warehouseman, Maintenance Supervisors, and Plant Electrical Engineer on the availability of critical spare parts
Prepares and consolidate material and spare parts requests for replenishment
Verify and validate repairs during machine breakdown, if there are any
Verify and validate effectiveness of Maintenance Plan
Regularly updates Preventive Maintenance Program

Requirements:

A Licensed Mechanical Engineer
Preferably with at least 5 years related work experience in dressing plant or poultry industry and facility in a similar capacity
Possess above average leadership skills as well as sound judgement and decision-making capabilities
Computer literate
Organized/Systematic
Good in oral and written communication and can work under pressure
Knows how to make monitoring and preventive maintenance

Responsibilities:

Conducts regular meeting and discussion with Maintenance Personnel
Prepares Work Order using the Preventive Maintenance Plan
Regularly checks and evaluate machine/equipment status base on Maintenance Personnel reports and Process Owners feedback
Coordinates with Warehouseman on the availability of critical spare parts
Prepares request for replenishment of spare parts inventory
Prepares annual budget for the Maintenance Section
Facilitate repairs during machine breakdown (if there are any)
Evaluate effectiveness of Maintenance Plan Regularly updates Preventive Maintenance program
Prepares working schedule of Maintenance Personnel
Filter and study Job Order request, outside services projects to control unnecessary expense

Requirements:

Environmental Engineering graduates and/or any related course or equivalent
Have at least 2 years related work experience in any industrial or poultry plant
Be knowledgeable in ISO Quality Management Systems and Good Manufacturing Practices
Possess above average leadership skills as well as sound judgement and decision-making capabilities
Have superior analytical skills and have good interpersonal/communication skills
Can work with less supervision
Willing to work on a shifting schedules
Area of Assignment: Cagayan de Oro City

Responsibilities:

Facilitates and secures the necessary permit Ensures permits are valid and updated
Ensure Pollution control is effective
Solid Waste collection is in full and on time. 100% compliance to schedule
Hazardous wastes storage and disposal are monitored and controlled
Maintain liaison with the city/provincial or municipal or local pollution control officers
In-charge and supervise the proper operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities of the plant
Diligent monitoring and preparing of reports (SMR and CMR), most especially on the compliance on pollution control and prevention
Ensure to keep abreast with requirements of the plant and the latest available technology on the prevention, control and abatement of pollution
Facilitate compliance of the plant with the requirements that may time to time be prescribed by the Government

Requirements:

Graduate of B.S. Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology and/or any related course or equivalent
TESDA Accreditation is an advantage
At least 1-3 years of working experience in handling plant planning preventive maintenance and/or related field is required for this position
Computer literate
Organized/Systematic
Good in oral and written communication and can work under pressure
Knows how to make monitoring and preventive maintenance

Responsibilities:

Responsible in the execution of all electrical works
Responsible in ensuring that all electrical components of all machinery and equipment are in good operating condition
Responsible in identifying the needed improvement in all existing electrical system
Responsible in coordinating with the maintenance planner on the critical electrical works that should be include in the maintenance work schedule
Responsible in ensuring that the work place is kept clean and organized before, during and after maintenance work
Responsible in ensuring that all electrical tools, parts and other electrical gadgets are properly handled during maintenance
Responsible in giving updates on the status and condition of all machines and equipment

Provides proper medication and first aid to minor accidents that may happen during the shift
Provides illness management. Provides information about how short-term illnesses like colds and flu spread and make recommendations, which if followed, may reduce the number of employee who get sick and miss work due to illnesses.
Provides inventories to medical supply and medicines needed
Provides documentation services for at-work injuries that can help with liability and worker’s compensation claims
Checks the City Health card status of every employee. Responsible for ensuring of renewal of employee’s City Health cards
