Lian Hong Co. in Iligan City is looking for:
Accounting Controller
This role will work closely with the management team to ensure that we have complete, accurate and readily available financial data as well as implement strict controls.

- In this position, you have a critical role in safeguarding the company’s assets by ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness of data for the books

Key Responsibilities:
- Review the books of accounts to ensure correct records
- Audit internal processes and systems to ensure strict controls are maintained across multiple Accounting sections (General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory)
- Review and ensure the accuracy of financial reports and other related documents (i.e. invoices, receipts, ledgers, etc.)
- Prepare and analyze regular audit reports and provide recommendations on improvements
- Work with the team to maintain an updated Operation Manual for Accounting policies and procedures
Experience in the following areas:
- Strong sense of integrity, discipline and loyalty
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant
- Experience in leadership role with a sizable team
- Experience in a retail trading or distribution company managing various accounting functions such as bookkeeping, payables / disbursements, receivables and government
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and / or Google Suite (Docs, Sheet)

- Continuously improving processes: Has initiative to suggest, plan and execute process improvements on a department and company level. Able to anticipate and plan for future challenges rather than in a reactive ‘firefighting’ approach.
- Team player: Does not hesitate to jump in to help team members whenever needed. Enthusiastic and energizing to be around.
