MORESCO-1 in Misamis Oriental is looking for a:
Property and Fleet Management Chief
Deadline of submission: 16 August 2019
Job Objective:
Responsible in planning and implementation of all property related developments and fleet management of the cooperative.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Formulates, updates, property development and fleet maintenance strategies.
- Oversees property development and construction projects.
- Oversees ongoing property development income generating undertakings of the cooperative.
- Manages the on time completion of property development projects.
- Recommends the most effective and efficient vehicle and equipment appropriate for the use of the cooperative.
- Review acquisition, preventive maintenance and disposal of vehicles.
- Ensures availability and appropriate practice of the cooperatives fleet.
- Evaluates and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
- Identifies staff development and training needs.
- Evaluates and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
- Performs other reasonable and related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
- Adjust and operate surveying instruments, such as the theodolite and electronic distance-measuring equipment, and compile notes, make sketches and enter data into computers.
- Ensures accuracy of total station setting, rod reading and spans limitation.
- Prepares ground profile and conductor level drawings.
- Operates geographical positioning system (GPS)
- Supervises rodman and back/fore sighter for the line survey works.
- Performs other reasonable and related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Registered Mechanical/Civil Engineer
- At least 4-year experience in a relevant job
Competency Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly analytical and demonstrates confidence in problem solving and decision making
- Knowledge of fleet management
- Demonstrates excellent leadership skills
- Demonstrates disciplined and organized work habits
- Must be computer proficient
- Shares the vision and mission of the cooperative, and demonstrates behavior consistent with the cooperative’s core values
- Resident within the franchise area
